ANTI-PLATONIC MACHINERY (2015)
This is a conceptual album entirely framed in a critique of harmful and decadent idealism of the Greek philosopher Plato through the prism of materialist philosophical proposals of thinkers like Michel Onfray, Friedrich Nietzsche, Diogenes of Sinope, Epicurus of Samos and Democritus of Abdera. This machinery proposes in its lyrics to focus on the power of corporeal existence and recover the lost gravitational center in the metaphysical exaltation.
This production is focused on the concept of leaderless proposed by the thinker Georges Bataille. The album name contains a Latin expression used by the philosopher Michel Foucault in his research «Madness and Civilization: A History of Insanity in the Age of Reason» to identify individuals set aside by generating resistance to normalization. The lyrics are mainly focused on criticism from different angles to our culture and functioning of our societies.
